Also, fewer larger boxes better than small for movers tho once they are gone, you will have to dig thru large boxes if you don't unpack right away and won't know what's what unless you fully label them. Mark clearly (diff color labels?) which room you want box to end up in.
Rude movers when picking up. Pick up was on 10/27, Time line for delivery agreement was for 11/1-11/11. I received a call from the driver who will not be able to deliver until earliest of 11/16 making it a minimum of 21days for delivery of my belongings to go 900miles. I spoke with corporate who offered no rectification for the issue. I was only told that there was no driver available and the truck from location to destination was not filled enough. I was given a time window and scheduling was not included in the equation. I will never use bekins again!
I very rarely post reviews, but this is one of the worst experiences I have had with a company. To basically be unsympathetic or offer anything for a delay from a signed contract is absurd.
Had 3 movers and all of them were very courteous and professional. They were on time and very careful with my items. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.
Everything with Bekins was fine until it was time to actually deliver our stuff. We moved from San Diego to Miami and were given a contract with a guaranteed delivery by November 8th, which was 3 weeks away our move date. Our estimate now as of November 9th is November 15th or 16th. Bekins basically told us tough luck and they would do nothing for the extra costs we have for hotels, food and more.
Carlos & his crew were great. Three exceptionally polite and hardworking men. They took the stress out of my move. The cost of the move was very reasonable. I highly recommend Bekins.
Suggest taking pictures of impt pieces. Lots of pictures up close that show condition before packing. You will need them if you are concerned about trying to make a claim for any kind of damages. And take the time to review the inventory prepared by packers because virtually every piece will be marked "scratched" and "worn" because it is used.
